To gain a position in the sports industry where I can grow professionally. I want to work on and off field. My goal is to work with organisations such as Tennis Australia or sporting clubs in the AFL or NRL | Keep myself updated with the sports industry in Australia and see if I can bring some good changes that create more passion among people to be a part of the sports industry. |
What sporting problem keeps Ridhima up at night, and how would you solve it?
I think every industry might have problems, but I feel there is no such problem; the issue is opportunities - giving a chance and trusting a fresher that they might be capable as well of bringing good changes, which will help strengthen the industry and the system. A thought of change can help build something better, I feel.
What is Ridhima like?
What kind of environment do you thrive in?
Where there is no work politics, a fun environment and where everyone tries to help and support each other.
When have you had to show resilience in your life or career?
One of the biggest examples of resilience in my career has been relocating to Australia and rebuilding my career from the ground up. I adapted to a new country, trying to learn the Australian job market, improved my professional profile, and actively pursued opportunities despite facing challenges such as securing sponsorship. Instead of giving up, I continued networking, enhancing my skills, and applying for roles aligned with my career goals. This experience strengthened my adaptability, persistence, and determination, and taught me to stay focused and positive even when progress takes time.”
