  • I’ve got basic administration experience with strong customer service and sales skills. I have skills in delivering school sport programs for young kids, or facilitating sports programs for adults.

  • Worked towards KPIs in regards to obtaining participants into a sports program, reached capacity where I had delivered programs for adults to play social sport in, hit daily sales targets as an individual for sports clothing.

What steps has Ryan taken to break into the sports industry?

Studied a degree, offered volunteer experience, worked amongst a variety of sporting organisations

Ryan’s interest in sport all started from a genuine love of being part of sporting communities

I want to deliver my passions and knowledge onto other people that I work alongside with to allow me to hopefully build strong connections and working relationships or customer stakeholders. Working in an environment that allows me to deliver and speak about things that are important or have common interests in.

Since then, Ryan has gone on to work in sports program delivery and community sport, achieving things like

Grew participant numbers for an adult social sport program, building it to full capacity

Consistently hit individual daily sales targets in sports clothing retail

Im looking to work alongside a football academy and deliver sports programs/ classes to participants where I can grow the customer base / or learn my own skills in running my own business or working in a professional sporting environment where I can provide my experience and strengths to the company .

To have developed strong enough experience/ skills to be able to provide for myself and my family. Working in an area that gives me a purpose and fulfilment.

What sporting problem keeps Ryan up at night, and how would you solve it?

Maximising opportunities for viewership for major sports codes to be shared fairly amongst the community in Australia and allowing for particular sport codes to get more publicity compared to the popularity they would have if overseas.

  • Positive people who can collaborate together in supporting and pushing each other to reach common goals or interests.

  • Moving on from a long tenure job where I had comfort and stability for work, I was ready chapter in my life and allowed me to learn new life experiences about what I want in life.

  1. What are your interests outside of work?

  • I enjoy participating or spectating sport games on my weekends. Whilst being out and about socialising with like minded individuals. Sharing common interests. I enjoy visiting venues that provide experiences in sport or dining.

  1. What is your favourite sporting moment?

  • Cristiano Ronaldo rejoining Manchester United and playing for them on the return. I also enjoy watching sporting grand finals/ final playoff games to securing championships, and the hype and build up around these moments.

  1. What’s your ideal holiday?

  • Overseas, to America / UK or football European countries where I can experience sporting venues / visiting professional sporting organisations.

  1. If you had 30 minutes to pick the brain of anyone, who would it be and why?

  • Tony Robbin’s to improve on my own personal life development.
