  • I have pursued my degree in sports management, and established my personal brand on LinkedIn to showcase my passion for sports.

I want to work in the sports industry because of its power to unite people, spark emotions and inspire greatness. I do not view it as another job; I view it as an opportunity to contribute to something bigger than myself, and I want to be right in the heart of it.

What sporting problem keeps Leah up at night?

One problem I would love to solve is how clubs can improve their women’s pathways programs to keep women and young girls in the sport long-term.

  • I thrive in a collaborative environment because I believe that teamwork fuels innovation and success. I excel at sharing ideas, actively listening to others, and building strong relationships with colleagues.

  • In my previous role, I had to adapt to the company changing its systems to improve day-to-day operations. During that time, it taught me to always remain positive and embrace it as an opportunity to learn about how this system can improve the day-to-day operations.

  1. What are your interests outside of work?

  • I enjoy going to the gym/walking.

  • I also love trying out new restaurants/bars/cafes in Sydney.

  • My favourite sporting moment would be the 2019 State of Origin series - Game 3, when James Tedesco scored the match-winning try.

  • My ideal holiday is in Queenstown, New Zealand. It’s a very peaceful place and rejuvenates the soul.

  • It would be Mel Robbins, and the reason is that I would love to learn more about her practical strategies for overcoming self-doubt and building confidence in the workplace.
