I have worked as a retail assistant for 5 years now, and as a warehouse assistant since May 2025.
I have volunteered as a youth leader looking after year 7-12 students for 6 years.

In my volunteer role as social media manager I achieved a 217% increase in Instagram following.

Bachelor of business (major in marketing)
I have such a passion for young people and helping build up the next generation because I truly believe they have so much power now.
What steps has Tracy taken to break into the sport industry?
I have reached out to try build a network and taken a sports marketing elective.
Tracy’s interest in sport all started when she realised the connecting power of the industry
Sports like no other industry has a unique way of connecting people. No matter if you speak the same language, have different abilities or are the same generation; sport has a way of connecting people.

I would love to be a place where I can honestly say I love my job and I’m constantly learning. This could look super different to what I have envisioned now but I want to be able to wake up and say that I am motivated to get out of bed and work. I would love to work in marketing for AFL | In the long run, I would love to work with young people in the sports industry whether that is going out into communities to give them access to sports or working with kids who want to meet athletes as their dream. |

Being able to close the gap between young people having accessibility to sports no matter their background

When have you had to show resilience in your life or career?
After graduating I started off studying a bachelor of project management and then 3 years into my degree I realised it wasn’t the right decision for me and took a leap of faith and transferred into a bachelor of business. This took a lot resilience because it took so much courage to make the change and fully back myself to do what I want truely wanted to.
What about Tracy’s interests outside of work?
What are your interests outside of work?
I love food. I’m a massive foodie and one fun thing about me is that I rarely eat at the same restaurant twice.
What is your favourite sporting moment?
When Jayden Nguyen debuted for Essendon FC as the first ever Vietnamese player. This definitely was a soft spot for me as I’m half Vietnamese.
What’s your ideal holiday?
Anything that involves a beach, hot weather and good food

Dan Gorringe as he has such a unique social media personality where he was just his authentic self and doesn’t try to fit in with the stereotypes
